Critical Language Awareness

Students will explore how identity, language, and power are connected and reflect on how ideologies influence writing.

I do not believe I have interacted with the usage of ideologies much yet, but I will definitely be keeping track of assignments and readings as I go through them to see if I can get more information on what to put here. If there are any associated projects, I will also link them here with a file preview.

For artifacts, I will be referring more to the Discussion #2 & #3 Downs essay source since it talks more about identity and language choice's intended effects, can be argued that since there are different connotations that can be used to get a specific goal or point across that writing can reflect the author's ideologies.
